Answer: Lately, I'm loving burnt red and dried rose tones. They create a beautiful contrast to the vibrant colors of summer. The feeling they evoke is like that refreshing shower you take after spending a long day under the sun and coming home. The warmth is still on you, but your mind is calm, and the day is slowly starting to settle... Those colors make me feel exactly that.
I thrive on melancholy; rewatching my favorite films always gives me a sense of comfort. That's why I often reach for Trier's films. I love being immersed in Trier's seemingly effortless narrative that builds emotion without forcing it. When I think of summer, The Worst Person in the World comes to mind most often. I guess that "anything can be possible again" feeling of summer resonates with the sense of possibilities that the film pursues.(Trier Summer Always, I mean :))
Question: You're going on vacation, what 4 things would you take with you?
Answer: I'm packing my bag imagining a mental vacation. I would take my handycam, headphones, all the movies I downloaded, my moisturizer, and then I'd be off.
